Is COVID-19 an interruption to our lives or a disruption?

This is a critical question for the Church to ask itself. How we answer this question will determine how we respond as God’s People.

We’d like to suggest that this is a disruption to our lives. Interruption suggests we simply wait this time out until life can “get back to normal.” Disruption, however, recognizes that this is not wasted time: God is using this season in our lives to form us, to call us and to draw near to us in order to walk alongside and transform His People.

In this series we’ll be unpacking What does it mean to be the people of God in the context of COVID-19? As we explore different experiences of the exiles in their disrupted experience in Babylon, we’ll draw out practical ways of how we can live as God’s People in this context.
